Welcome to the Wellness Center!
The Sussex Tech School-Based Health Center (SBHC) is partnership between La Red Health Center, Sussex Technical School District, and the Delaware Division of Public Health.
The Wellness Center is located in the 100’s (yellow) hallway between Room 109 and Room 107 adjacent to the PACTT Daycare Center. Look for the sign towards the end of the hallway.
-
Hours of Operation
We are open from 8-4 on days school is in session. Limited hours are available during the summer.
-
Billing
There is no charge for our members to be seen in the wellness center. Rather, parent/guardian insurance is billed and traditional co-pays or fees for appointments are waived per SBHC agreements. You may receive an Explanation of Benefits (EOB), not to be confused as a request for payment, from your insurance provider. Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns.
-
Privacy and Confidentiality
School records and center records are kept separately to insure confidentiality. School personal may refer students to become members of the wellness center. Protected Health Information (PHI) exchanges require parental consent, which can be obtained by completing a Release of Information (see our forms section).
