Success Tips
Parents, please work with your students to ensure these three simple steps to success:
- Be well-rested. Get plenty of rest the night before testing.
- Eat a good breakfast the day of testing.
- Stay relaxed while taking the test.
Timing
- The PSAT will take approximately three hours to complete; the SAT will take approximately four hours to complete.
- Science and social studies assessments generally take no more than 90 minutes to two hours to complete.
Results
- Results for PSAT and SAT assessments are released by the College Board approximately 1-2 months after the assessments.
- Results for Science and Social Studies assessments are usually available online to students at the conclusion of the assessment.
