Seven Sussex Technical High School digital publishing students showed they’re tops in the state by sweeping two poster contests recently – capturing first, second and third places in both competitions in the high school computer-aided design categories.

The winners of the county division of the 2019 Conservation Poster contest, sponsored by the Sussex Conservation District, with a theme of “Life in the Soil: Dig Deeper,” were:

  • First place: Senior Sobe Okoye of Millsboro
  • Second place: Senior Lydia Hall of Lincoln
  • Third place: Senior Ally Collier of Milford

Soil Poster Contest Winners

The winners of the state 2019 Delaware Disability History and Awareness Poster Contest, from the Governor’s Advisory Council for Exceptional Citizens, with a theme of “Inclusion is within everyone’s ability,” were:

  • First place: Junior Nina Fike of Dagsboro
  • Second place: Junior Logan Farro of Georgetown
  • Third place (tie): Juniors Emily Pusey and Olivia Bragg, both of Laurel
